Jack Withington
MAAT
Jack joined Brookhouse as a Accountant in January 2023, having previously worked at a Property Management Company for 8 years and before that a Construction Company for 7 years. Jack is responsible for all aspects of the finance function and providing support to the Finance Director.
Alvin Nyanga
Alvin started with Brookhouse in March 2024 in the role of Facilities Assistant, and he is working with Ben Ridgway and Mike Nuttall in the Asset Management Team.
Rachael Hardley
Sales Administrator
Rachael joined Lancet Homes in January 2025 having spent 20 years in the retirement sector of the new build industry. During that time Rachael took on many responsibilities including Sales Consultant and Marketing Executive and so brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as Sales Administrator.
Deborah Howarth
Sales Advisor
Debbie joined Lancet Homes in March 2025 bringing with her over 30 years’ experience in the New Build Sales Industry. Debbie has seen many welcomed changes in the industry over the years. She is passionate about the customer journey and seeing her happy customers move into their beautiful New Homes.
Ben Ridgway
Ben joined the company in July 2013 as Estates Surveyor, responsible for the management of the portfolio. Having previously been with Bruntwood and GVA, Ben has over 20 years’ experience in property management and lease consultancy.
Tracy Burgess
Tracy is a self-motivated sales individual and has over 10 years’ experience in the property industry. Originally from Yorkshire, she moved to the North West to join Lancet Homes as Sales Manager in 2018.
Peter Chape
Peter Chape is Company Secretary of the Brookhouse Group of Companies and a Partner in JMW Solicitors LLP. Peter specialises in legal advice on commercial property matters and has worked with Brookhouse since 1995.
Owen Ridgway
BSc (Hons)
Owen has been with Brookhouse since September 2011 as Group Quantity Surveyor responsible for the management of main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, procurement, tender analysis and the monitoring and controlling of costs and progress. Prior to his time at Brookhouse, Owen spent five years working for a main contractor on projects across various sectors.
Tom Whitehead
BA (Hons) DipTP MRTPI MCIPR
Tom is Brookhouse Group’s Town Planning Manager. A Chartered Town Planner and Accredited Public Relations Practitioner, he is responsible for all town planning matters across the Group’s portfolio. Tom was previously with the Co-operative Estates and mixed-use developer West Properties, prior to which he worked in planning consultancy in London and Manchester.
Natalie Tynan
Natalie is Personal Assistant to the Directors, having joined the company in May 2012. She also provides administrative support to the general office.
Heath Broadbent
Heath joined the company in April 2010 and as Group Construction Director is responsible for the delivery of all construction projects across the portfolio. He has worked on both commercial and residential projects with over 20 years’ experience in the house building industry, predominately at Persimmon Homes, where he undertook the roles of Chief Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager and Technical Director.
Mike Nuttall
BSc MRICS
Mike has been with the Group since 2004 and was appointed Property Director in 2012. During this time he has gained wide experience working in the public and private sectors. Mike has worked for over 30 years in property investment, development and regeneration across the United Kingdom and is responsible for the strategic asset management of the existing Brookhouse portfolio. The establishment of partnership working with a wider range of stakeholders is also his key focus. Alongside the Group Directorship, Mike also holds a Non-Executive role within the Social Housing sector supporting development and regeneration within Rochdale Boroughwide Housing, a pioneering, mutually owned housing provider.
Alan Murdoch
Alan Murdoch is a Chartered Surveyor, having worked as a Consultant with Scanlans Consultant Surveyors LLP Manchester office, where he was a Partner for some 30 years and Managing Partner for over 10 years. He has also been a Non-executive Director of the Vernon Building Society. Alan has expertise in commercial, residential and development property matters and is a qualified Property Receiver and independent expert.
Heather Cunningham
Heather Cunningham is a Chartered Accountant and for nearly 30 years until 2023, was Managing Director of Harold Sharp Limited, a Manchester based accountancy practice. In her early career, she qualified with Touche Ross and worked with Arthur Andersen. In the early 1990s she worked internationally in a senior position with Jardine Matheson in Hong Kong and throughout Asia where she was responsible for internal audit and risk assessment across group companies. Heather has held a number of Charity Trustee and Non Executive Director roles and has been a NED of Brookhouse since 1999.
Nicola Whitwood
FMAAT ACMA
Nicola joined Brookhouse in January 2005 as a trainee Accountant and became a CIMA qualified Accountant in 2010. Nicola is responsible for all aspects of the accounting function and has over 15 years’ experience, having previously worked at Beatmark Limited.
Andrew Gardner
ACA, CA (Aust)
Andrew trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. He was appointed Group Finance Director in 2005 and has a wealth of experience in advising on property transactions.
